Kaper Charts - As a troop or level we will make a Kaper Chart. A Kaper Chart is a chart used to decide the jobs that each girl needs to perform during a meal, checkout or meeting and assures that everything gets done and everyone gets a chance to do every job.  Typical Kaper duties while camping for a meal:

Cook


  • Arrive early to prepare the food for the meal.
  • Wipe out bowls, pots and pans, if not used for serving and put in sink or buckets.
  • Serve the Meal.
Hostess
  •  Make the Drinks or Set out the Drinks (Make sure there is a bowl of ice)
  • Clear and Wipe down all the tables being used for eating before the meal
  • Lead in the Grace.

Clean up
  • Discard all of the leftovers or bag them up and put in the refrigerator/ ice chest.
  • Put away all of the non perishable items.
  • Wipe all serving pots and pans with paper towels and take to the sink, buckets.
  • Wipe down all the eating tables.
  • Sweep the Kitchen Floor.
Dish Washer
  •  Wash all cooking Dishes.
  • Wipe out the sinks, dump the wash buckets and turn upside down to dry.
  • Wipe down the kitchen Counters/Chuck Box/Kitchen Tables
