ON MY HONOR

On my honor I will try, There's a duty to be done

and I say "aye",

There's a reason here for the reason up above,

My honor is to try and my duty is to love.

1) People don't need to know my name If I do

them any harm then I'm to blame. If I help a

Friend then I've helped me To open up my

eyes that I might see.

2) I've tucked away a song or two,

If you're feeling low there's one for you

 If you need a friend,

then I will come, And there's plenty

more where I come from.

3) Come with me where the fire burns bright,

You can see even better by firelight, You can

learn even more by the campfire's glow, Than

you can ever learn in a year or so.

4) We've made a promise we'll always keep,

We'll pray so softly before we sleep,

We'll be Girl Scouts together,

 and when we're gone, We'll

still be trying and singing this song.

Oh Running Bear

Chorus

Oh Running Bear, Loves Little White Dove,

With a love as big as the skies.

Oh Running Bear, Loves Little White Dove

With A love that never dies!

On one side Of the rushing River

Stood Running Bear, strong Indian brave

On the other side of the river

Stood a lovely, Indian Maid

Her Name was, Little White Dove

And what a lovely maid was she

But their tribes fought with one another

So their love could never Be!

Chorus

Running Bear dove in the water

Little White Dove did the same

And they swam outs towards one another

Through the rushing river waves

Their eyes met, And their lips touched

The rushing river pulled them down

Now they’ll always be together

In the happy hunting ground!

Chorus

Put his feet on the ham,

And stuck out his tongue at the

grocery man,

And then he walked out of

the store again,

Alone, tee-hee, all alone.

The Donut Song

Well…

I walked around the corner and I walked around the block

And I walked right into a donut shop

And I picked up a donut and I wiped off the grease

And I handed the merry man a 5 cent piece.

Well he looked at the nickel and he looked at me

And he said “hey, missy, can’t you plainly see

There’s a hole in the nickel, and it goes right through?

And I said, “aye, there’s a hole in the donut too!”

Have you ever been a fishin?

Have you ever been a fishin,

On a bright and sunny day.

Watching all the fishies

Swimming in and out the bay.

With their hands in their

Pockets and their pockets

In their pants.

And all the little fishies do the

Hootchie kootchie dance.

I can see the barges flickering light.

Silently flows the river to the sea,

As the barges go by silently.

Chorus

Out of my window looking in the night,

I can see the barges flickering light.

Starboard shining green and port is

shining red,

I can see the barges up ahead.

All the colors are understood

What can make a hippopotamus smile?

I said that’s not what hippos do!

(Chorus)

They ooze through the goose

 without any shoes

They wade through the water

 till their lips turn blue

That’s what hippos do

I said that’s what hippos do!

What can make a hippopotamus smile?

What can make him

run for more than a mile?

It’s not a tune on the old violin

Or listening to the sound

of the whistling wind

That’s not what hippos do

I said that’s not what hippos do!
